Get your mum and garter orders in now to avoid that last minute panic!
There are several options to choose from, whether you are interested in making your own using a self-assembly kit with written/video instructions, or having us make it for you. We also offer mini mums which make perfect additions to a back-pack, shirt or any place you want to add some spirit! Be sure to mention if you're ordering for a senior so we can use senior colors - and there is even an option to upgrade to the Texas or Triple Heart Mum!

A homecoming mum is a large, decorative wearable chrysanthemum flower adorned with ribbons, bells, and charms, traditionally worn during high school homecoming events. Curious about their origin? Read a brief history here!

Mums are larger floral pieces traditionally worn on the front of the body (often around the neck or pinned to clothing), while garters are smaller versions worn by on the upper arm.

Self-assembly kits come with all the materials needed (no more and no less) to create a mum or garter- saving you money without paying for excess materials. They are a great time-saver for those that already know how to assemble a mum, but also come with thorough video and written instructions for those wanting to learn for the first time. We can also make it for you with our pre-made option- the ultimate time-saver.

Upgrades are extras that can be added to enhance a standard CraftWorx pre-made mum/garter or kit order. A la carte items can be ordered individually without the purchase of a CraftWorx pre-made mum/garter or kit order.

Mini mums (often referred to as backpack mums) are smaller, lightweight versions made with a pin that can be added directly to shirts or school backpacks instead of wearing the traditional mum around the neck. They are also great for younger siblings or a parent wanting to join in on the homecoming spirit fun!

It is best to place custom orders several weeks in advance of your school's homecoming week to avoid rush fees and to help us plan accordingly. Note, everything is made to order and requires at least a one week lead time to produce.

Traditionally, dates buy them for each other but parents, friends, or students buying their own for school spirit is also very common.

Traditional sizing is scaled with grade level (freshmen start with a single flower, seniors go up to large multi-flower or quad setups). Today, comfort and budget matter most.
